"Yum yum!! And street tacos for $1.50! This place is awesome, very large laid back patio a little bit outside of the main old town streets. It was really nice to be somewhere that wasn?t crowed and didn?t have loud music playing. The al pastor taco with grilled pineapple was really good. Also got a couple of chicken street tacos. Generous amount of guacamole salsa with the chips! Great value great food! Next time I?m going back for the iced coffee with horchata!!"

"I was feeling basic and decided to get Mexican food for lunch on Cinco de Mayo. I ordered through DoorDash for pickup. My time changed from 10 to 45 minutes, which was weird. When I got there, they said they had a catering order and it would be about 25 minutes. Fine with me, I waited at a table. My food was ready about 15 minutes later and I dug in. It was spicy and delicious; I chose their chipotle chicken and added hot salsa, cilantro, pico de gallo, cilantro rice, black beans, lettuce, cabbage, onions, corn, cheese, and jalapeño cream cheese (extra $1.25), with sour cream on the side. So glad I got that! I needed it to cool my mouth down after the salsa. It tasted great; I think they forgot the cabbage but whatever. I was pretty hungry so I finished it quickly. I would come back and try other menu items! And would probably just order at the restaurant since that moves a bit quicker."

"On our first night in Scottsdale, we drove 1 mile from our resort and found ourselves in The Wandering Donkey Taqueria and Tequila bar. Let me tell you about this 5 star restaurant. This place was Ah-mazing. We were there super early so it was pretty quiet. We sat at the bar which is absolutely, stunningly beautiful and was the creation of a local artist. They have killer drinks with my favorite being a toss up between the Ay- Chihuahua (a spicy margarita with just the right amount of heat) and the Chocolate Espresso martini (a great dessert drink). The food was delicious. We shared the Tostada stack with Carnitas and each got an ear of Elote Corn. That corn was.out of this world! I just know I will crave this corn when I go back to Ohio. The atmosphere was great and the staff were all super friendly, knowledgeable and fun to chat with. We really appreciated Beth coming to chat with us and giving us a little history of this awesome restaurant. If we lived closer, this would definitely be a once a week place for us. If you live in or around Scottsdale and haven't given this place a try yet, do it!"
