"We had a small lunch here. The view of the square was excellent, as was the service. The food had a touch of gourmet to it, unlike any other place that we ate at during our visit. The Pickled Octopus was not like it sounds. It was a saute of octopus, and shrimp, scallops, squid (I think) and vegetables in a delicious sauce. My wife had gazpacho, and said it was the best she ever had, including hers. I can't speak for other menu items, but these two suggest that The View has atypical, gourmet dishes"

"Had kept and when we showed up, the restaurant was closed and was closed for 3 days. Nobody gave us a call. it was a Saturday on a busy day and we had difficulty eating somewhere else."

"We spotted this small rustic place while checking out the area. It had mostly locals eating but the staff spoke good English. We had the pizza and it was great. Staff was friendly and helpful with questions. Prices are reasonable."
