"Just Ok donuts. Maybe a different flavor or a filled one would have been better. Cool place though and like rotating flavors concept. Hard to really tell what the decor theme was since it appeared tropical and then random pieces of art were on wall that didn’t fit in with it."

"Someone had given me a gift card and I had not been to Lasaters since April. I just have not gotten a good coffee in a long time from there. But I love their white chocolate gingerbread latte so I thought great I'll get that. The first time I got it it mostly tasted like a white chocolate mocha. I could not taste anything that tastes like gingerbread. The second time I got it it was like a iced latte with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Very disappointing."

"One of the best coffee shops I have been to. If you are a coffee snob, you will appreciate that this shop serves pour over coffee on an individual serving size basis. You have to stop by and try out their coffee."

"I got a chai latte and it was delicious, the greenhouse lounge space was awesome and all the live plants and cuttings throughout were cool. The vibes in the coffee shop itself were a little odd, more sterile than cozy like a typical coffee shop. Thealternative lounge areas are the best part Imo. Two drinks ran us almost $10, so a little more pricy than other local coffeespots."

"Relocation of the prior CWRU adjacent store many of the photos are outdated! Fortunately, the relocation to Lee Rd is every bit as quirky and charming as you'd expect a Rising Star to be. With any Rising Star, you'll get quality coffee, beans, merch, and baked goodies for sale. Most of their pastries are sourced from Blackbird Baking Co in Lakewood with plenty of gluten free options, bagels from The Cleveland Bagel Co, and Rising Stars have all stopped charging extra for dairy alternatives! Housed in a retro themed diner which is once again open for dine in (or study in), this cafe is polished, clean, and friendly. The barista bar is right in front when you enter, with restrooms to the right and the seating area to the left. Because of the oblong shape of the diner trailer, seating seems a little diminished from the prior space, but the dining tables make for ample surface to chat and work from, and the long dining counter has additional bar stools to park your butt at. The most unique seat is a dining table in an alcove jutting out from the side of the main dining room, with a bookshelf of free books to peruse. You'll find plenty of students studying here so you know the Wi Fi is reliable. There are limited charging outlets due to the design of the trailer though plan accordingly. The bathrooms are subtly designated male and female with posters on the doors and kept in good condition. There's no paper towels, forcing you to go green with the excellent Dyson Airblade hand dryer."
