"Stopped here for a coffee and asked for a espresso, 'double? ' she said.. must not have been looking to sharp.. It is tony 's estate coffee and thus pretty easy to drink. Great for that pick me up. I also got a cute little christmas cupcake with a wreath on it. If you 're up for something more substantial, they have pre made sandwiches, or made to order as well as all day breakfasts. Staff were pretty stressed as it 's very busy at the shops but certainly nice and my order came fast."

"We ordered to have Thai in a box delivery, the delivery was punctual and the food was quite flavorful although the soup was much more like curry than soup,"

"First of all, I would rather start with cons because I love them. So allow me to get rid of negative thing first. Location!! As they are located on the first floor of a commercial building (where Hugo’s used to be and practically opposite the “World Bar”, if you are familiar with this area), it is not easy to find them. But I believe they deserve a lot better than where they are. Since one of my favourite restaurants Yokozuna has gone, this would be my hope. While the menu is quite good as you can enjoy ordinary Japanese dishes such as Edamane, Gyoza and so on (tempura is quite impressive), the highlight is of course Sashimi (chef’s premium selection).I was pleasantly surprised recently to find out that one of the sashimi was Maguro-zuke (ever lightly marinated tuna). As the tuna’s quality was excellent as sashimi, Maguro-zuke was perfectly done. I have never expected to have this style outside of Japan. On top of that, Sake-toro Aburi (lightly seared salmon/ocean trout belly) was speechless, as well as Hotate-aburi (lightly seared scallops). Not over/under done, just perfect. You can only enjoy the touch of charred flavour. Delicious!!You can also enjoy the touch of Korean food like Bibimpap, Ganjang chicken and so forth, if you wish (I have been nagging them for Sundubu-Chige like a spoilt boy, though ).But if you are keen on fatty dish like Toro (tuna belly) or wagyu (but do not worry, they do Teriyaki dish), this place would not be the right one for you as these ideas have been introduced after Japan had opened up to the West (Toro was used to be regarded as pets’ food but for human beings as it is too fatty), and so far I have failed to find any of those. I could be easily very wrong. The floor staff are very polite and friendly as well as kitchen staff. The restaurant is both licensed and BYO ($8.00 per bottle corkage, I believe) and open for both lunch and dinner.I highly recommend any of you to give it a try just a once at least!!"
