"I am so glad to see the consistency of the quality of food here. I just spoke to my friend who recently visited there. She mentioned and reminded me that the quality of food was exactly the way it was when we were in University back in 1997 to 2001. I used to love the executive meal and my friends specially ordered that and called me rate it as a 5 /5. <br>
I still remember when in hostel, used to go there when my dad used to visit me and the restaurant gifted me a 25% discount card for eating sofrequently after understanding that I am a student. I am still yet to see a more considerate restaurant anywhere - even after visiting so many countries."

"Heavy loaded dosa. a lot of cheese on the dosa. quite generous iwth the cheese there. but did not enjoy it ! sambar was really bad. chutney was okish.. noodles were a bt weird though can't point what exactly it was.. it was well packed. and took quite some effort with the scisoors to get it out of the packaging."

"Kalyan Cafe was considered to be an adda for most of the Barodians since past decade which has now remaining an empty house with hosts waiting for guests. Well, I guess food hasn't been changed except they have regularly upgraded and included more variety of items in their menu. One thing will always be remained in a corner of my mind - it's ambience. It's not great to look out for, but being an old cafe in Vadodara, it has maintained its ambience, table arrangements as it is since years. I always like most of its food - especially its sizzlers. Kalyan Cafe has been serving sizzlers since when no other food joints were opened to serve continental food. <br>
After a long time, on my last visit I remembered my old days while I used to come here and the items I used to order. This time, I was craving for something new to try and looked upon the list named "new arrivals". I gestured in and decided to order Tex Mex Burger. It took almost 10-15...

"The ambience is peaceful. It has an upstairs seating too. The chicken dishes do not have much difference in their tastes. They all kind of taste the same. <br>

I had Butter Chicken, Chicken Angara, and lasaniya chicken. All of them taste almost similar. The chicken pieces are well cooked though. And the chicken gravy tastes well. <br>

Chicken Combination rice is good. Then matar pulav was good too. Everything here is affordable and tasty.<br>
The people here are cool and helpful. Service is at the right pace."
