"DO NOT GO TO DA MIMI. We booked a condo on VRBO and our host recommended it. While the food wasn't bad, the surprise prices were outrageous. When you sit down, they understand enough English to take your order and charm you. When you are shocked to see the total on your bill, they don't understand a word of English!! Wine for 5 euros on the menu was 15 euros on the check!!! Fish for 8 euros on the menu was 16 euros on the check!!! It went on and on. You can waste your vacation time arguing with them in a different language, call the cops and waste even more time... or read the reviews ahead of time. DO NOT GO TO DA MIMI."

"That's all. they are also so patient with the language barrier. I've never experienced such nurses here in palermo and the pasta is to die. the fact that they can choose their own sauce and then noodle is brilliant! my man and I tried five different pasta dishes and each was so unique and fresh (we took some to go). they make sure that they get what they want and go out satisfied. again it is the most friendly, gentle and tasty pasta restaurant I have ever been. great vegetarian options! I'm vegetarian and I had a hard time finding out what I wanted because everything seemed delicious. I recommend pastando! I come back when I return to Sicily."
