"An absolute disgrace of a venue. We popped in to use out meercat movies voucher as we always do. The food was below average but we didn’t complain because of the 2-4-1 deal. When it came to paying, the waiter said they didn’t accept the voucher over the Christmas period and we should check the T&Cs. We asked to see the manager (Marcel) who was rude from the off. We advised they should tell people when entering, as the voucher and T&Cs did not mention it could not be used (17th Dec). I said we would not be willing to pay full price as it was not made clear at any point the voucher could not be used. At this time the waiter came over again and said you should have checked the T&Cs. At this point we asked them to show us these but they could not show us anything. I said please can we only speak to the manager, as it was embarrassing that both staff members were confrontational and other guests were looking over. At this time the so called manager said we should leave. It was completely uncalled for and humiliating. The manager has absolutely no customer service skills and I’m shocked he is in hospitality, let alone a manager. We will never return to pizza express and will do our upmost to spread the word of one of the poorest dining experiences we’ve ever had. Absolute shambles. Pizza Express sort it out!!"
