"The food was delicious and cheap. The Pasta alla Norma lived until her hype! The pasta with Gorgonzola and pistachios was also delicious. We have a Catania salad and the blood oranges were amazing. We also got salmon with Burrata, which was delicious. The swordfish was very delicious. We would recommend this restaurant."

"Bar Ernesto was always renowned for the quality of its drinks, ice cream and tavola caldo. It is located opposite the sea, although current roadworks do obscure the view. We went for breakfast, it was very busy and staff seemed overwhelmed. My cappuccino was 90% foamed milk with hardly any coffee in it, making it tasteless. A croissant filled with pistachio crème was small, somewhat squashed and flaky to the point of being difficult to eat. We had far better breakfasts at less established and cheaper bars nearby ."

"I’ve never walked of a restaurant before but after waiting over hour for our meals this was a 1st. We asked on the hour where our food is we got told “in kitchen” 5 mins later I got my meal, 5 mins after that...I got my side salad we asked about my wife’s mussels we got told “in kitchen” I had finished my food before the mussels arrived told them to forget 1hr 15 mins to steam some mussels there was only about 8 tables eating. Give it a Hugh miss i really don’t know how u can run a business with service like this!!!"
