"Fish chips by the seaside is pretty much mandatory when you 're married to an Englishman. The selection of dishes is really good I opted for seafood delight and he had snapper chips . With a small coke and tartar sauce it came to a shocking price of $40.50. For that I expect perfection. Sadly the overall experience was a huge disappointment. Whilst the fish was perfectly cooked everything else was subpar. The batter was thin and not crispy at all, the tartar sauce was positively the worst I 've ever had (I suggest they Google a recipe to at least try to get close to what it should be like) and the chips were soggy. Even the seagulls weren 't interested! Also I hated the announcement of ready meals over the speaker system it gave a school dinner hall atmosphere to the place. The beeping buzzer was bad enough. I think the people who have rated it high are those who got fresh seafood from the fish market part of the business."

"The service was average - once you ordered your meal you were non existent i sat there for mins trying to get staff attention to show them a hair in my meal and could not get a response When the waitboy eventually responded he...was great by that time i requested nothing - but i sat there a further and not one person from management came anywhere near me There are a lot of seafood restaurants in the area customer service is what will stand out SWEETLIPS IS NOT THAT RESTAURANT !!!!!"
