"We were looking forward to a wonderful evening 4 adults and 2 children we had The restaurant reccomended from others. We reserved a table by phone and was saddened to show up and discover a horrible service. The waiter was extremely rude and mean and scolded us for not having specied that we were 4 adults and 2 children. We decided to leave based on his behavier. On our Way out he yelled at u’s again telling us “i never have a problem with the right people”. The owner hate kids and we will spend our money elsewhere for sure!"

"We have just had an excellent meal at Costa de Altea. Basic but very clean bar restaurant. Fantastic sea views .Staff very helpful and friendly. Very little English spoken, which wasn’t a problem for us, but knowing a little SPANISH would help. We shared a tuna and Anchovies salad, I had steak with a delicious mushroom sauce, my partner had sea bass followed by tiramisu washed down with a bottle Flores de Callejo Ribera Del Duero water and coffee. Prices comparable to other restaurants close by. Other people ordered pizza which were big and looked smelt delicious, others had simple salads. Everything was very tasty. If you want a relaxed meal no rushing here! “tranquillo” visit Costa de Altea you will not be disappointed. We will return."
