"We made reservations for outside seating, I confirmed the reservation twice and all was good. When my hubby and I got the restaurant, the host told us that the outside patio was not available because it had been rented out to a private party and it was not open or available to customers. I was extremely upset and said how come they didn’t mention or told me that when I had confirmed my reservation? Nothing was mention neither the first or second time I called to confirm...mind you confirming two hours before my reservation. She said “I’m sorry”. We opt to stay because at this time we wouldn’t be able to find a restaurant to eat at LA Live w/o a reservation. The hostess said come follow me, we went into the inside seating area and she said “you can sit anywhere you would like”. The inside seating was awful it felt like a middle school cafeteria. Food was average and the service was below average. Waiter would take a long time before checking on our table for order taking, refills and so forth. Needless to say we have been back to LA Live plenty of times, but will never consider going back to NIXO Lounge."

"Service was super fantastic our waiter was attentive and tried to steer us but we insisted on one dish which we ended up not loving, so they took the charge off the bill. The manager came over to talk to us as well. We intended to pay for it but it is nice that they care about our overall dining experience and didn’t want that one dish to leave a bad taste. We are definitely going back!"
