"Came in on a Friday at lunch time and was seated immediately in a comfortable booth by the window. We ordered the tofu pad thai and the crispy garlic chicken, both four stars. Both dishes were excellent, the pad thai being perfectly sauced, and the tofu nice and crispy, while that crispy garlic chicken very popular says the menu) was just phenomenal. The Thai iced tea stood out, as well. The only thing I 'd do differently is ordering five stars, as four was not quite spicy enough. We 're already looking for an excuse to find ourselves back in the area to redo that perfect meal!"

"Basilic has been my favorite spot before events at McCaw Hall. However, it is very obviously in the midst of an ownership change that left us feeling like we were awkwardly stuck in a disorganized dress rehearsal. They deserve a second chance, which I will give them. However, service issues (especially communicating with customers) will need lots of attention. I hope things shake out soon."
