"Once again we were back at the Grappolo D'Oro for a late New Year dinner with business colleagues. As usual the blackboard menu offers an interesting array of specially prepared Italian cuisine. This time I went for the deep fried baby calarmari rings which were...delicious a meal in itself actually. I followed up with a good old favourite of mine veal liver, pureed potatoes and green beans. Wonderful. We all enjoyed the house Primitivo red wine which was soooo smooth. None of us was particulalry keen on desserts so after an espresso and lots of chatting we left fully satisfied as always."

"I was there for the first time today. tuna steak and gamba and a mixed appetizer court ordered. for appetizers on the house, there were olives, bread, garlic cream and bruscettinis. all very tasty. the wee was also very good, the main tasty and if they get a nonino risverva 8 years as a bag, they can only feel welcome. super nice service. Thank you!"

"We found this quaint restaurant quite by chance in the pouring rain, but once inside it was lovely and cosy and the menu was very inviting. It is not only Italian, we had typical German dishes - goulash soup and schnitzels and the servings were generous and double delicious! It seems to be a family run restaurant and we could see that many of the patrons were local and well known to the owners. Best Goulash soup I have had in Germany. I would go back again if I were ever in Bergish Gladbach again ."
