"During a visit to Witten, the bakery became aware of me when I discovered a pretzel tree through the shop window behind the sales counter. This is a tree-shaped metal frame at whose branches the different types of pulp hang. Brezel is sprinkled here with sesame, poppy, salt, cumin or herbs, but also with cheese or in sweet variations. The type of presentation (Tree) is certainly original, but if the pulps were not better than the croissants, rolls or the rage bag in baskets, I can't judge, but I think they're drying so fast hanging. There are also various breads, pastries, cakes and cakes. The selection is immense, but the prices are slightly higher than I used to be from Dortmund. I bought a malt rye bread and various rolls. With the bread I was very satisfied, the bread pastry was too laff for my taste. In addition to the clean and bright sales room, there is also a café or snack area. "Auf der Home Seite steht ganz unten...."Wir freuen uns auf Ihren Besuch".... dieses Gefühl hatten wir beide nicht, denn schon als wir dieses Lokal betraten, sah man uns an, als wären wir Ausserirdische. Da wir das Erste Mal dort waren, fragten wir höflich, ob dieses Lokal schon geöffnet sei. Die Antwort von dem Kellner kam eher unhöflich, mit den Worten...."Ja, wir haben seit einer Minute geöffnet. Nachdem wir geklärt hatten ob wir etwas zu essen bekommen können, hatte man uns empfohlen in den etwas erhöhten Raum zu gehen, da es dort wärmer ist. Auf die Frage ob wir auch eine Pizza Hawaii bekommen können gab es ein Nein als Antwort. darauf bestellten wir einen Salat und eine Pizza Salami (hinzuzufügen wäre noch, es gibt dort nur Pizzen mit Mozzarella Käse) Als die beste Pizza in Witten kann ich sie nicht bezeichnen. Sie war ok. Zu dem Salat wurde Balsamico Essig, Olivenöl, Pfeffer und Salz gereicht, zum Selberwürzen (sehr gut). Am Feldsalatbüschlein waren noch die Wurzeln. Dort gehen wir kein Zweites Mal essen."
