"Really wanted to love this place. Came here during a walk when nyc first started opening up again. They served us and let us sit on a table and hang to finish our drinks and snacks mozzarella sticks and they were very accommodating. The mozzarella sticks were also pretty good. Came back when nyc officially said outdoor dining was ok. Was vastly disappointed. The staff was still really nice. But... It was really hot an humid out so we got a carafe of Sauvignon blanc and cosmo to drink. We wanted dinner but by the time we sat down the heat and humid had gotten to us and we didn 't want anything too heavy. We ordered a chicken salad and a seafood salad to go with our drinks. The chicken salad came out, with greens that were half wilted and not exactly fresh. I looked at my own seafood salad and saw that there was literally absolutely no seafood in it. Apparently they mistakenly thought I said Cesar salad . The waiter apologized profusely I 'll give him credit for that and said it won 't be too long he said 4 min before they bring out the seafood salad I ordered. It was close to 10 min before it came out. While I was waiting i forked thru the Cesar salad they left in front of me. It was sad to say... kind of unappetizing and the same quality as the chicken salad. The chicken was also a bit too salty . The seafood salad came, and I saw right away without tasting that it had probably been previously frozen, and definitely less than fresh, which may have been why it took so long. I asked for cocktail sauce to maybe at least have the shrimp with, but they didn 't have any and asked me if I wanted Tabasco sauce ??! . It is my opinion that maybe they wanted to use up produce that they had. I know most restaurants may be struggling. But c 'mom... you can 't do that if you wanna charge upwards of $10 for salad? I left the seafood salad largely untouched. I 'm sorry to say that this was a pretty disappointing experience. The stars I 'm giving are for the staff who tried their best. NOT for the food."
