"One of my first meals in Colombia and I really enjoyed it. It was both busy with tourists as well as with local executive types (I testify by the suits, ties, dress heels), which I generally think is a good sign. No English menu available, but head waiter very patient and helpful with my poor Spanish. Service slowly until I said I was short. I think it was more about being very busy and most people want to take time instead of being a training place. Complimentary Guacamole and Plantain Chips, while waiting for my main creole rice, mixed with many extra bits. It was very delicious. The main restaurant is located in the courtyard of an old house, which is quiet and airy. If I had been to Bogota for a long time, I would probably have gone back and have been more courageous with my decisions. felt good to also support a training place."

"The chairs with an iron backrest are more a torture instrument than they invite to linger. Unfriendly service, noise from the kitchen or from the bar (Trinkmischer). The 'Füller Abadia Colonial' with a yarn sauce is also far from the level... what you know from Italy. But on account 8% IPO and 10% Propina. Definitely not recommended."

"Cena in questo piccolo e caratteristico ristorante. Sempre affilato, se non vi recate qui sul presto è consigliato prenotare. Come entre la casa offre un assaggio di patate chips con crema di formaggio aromatizzato. Optiamo per la zuppa del giorno come antipasto: zuppa con formaggio e carota, accompagnato da avocado. Deliziosa.Come piatto principale rimaniamo sempre sulla portata del giorno: trancio di tonno contornato di patate forno e insalata. Decisamente fresco e dal sapore appagante.Porzioni abbondanti. Usciamo sazi.Prezzo leggermente più alto della media della candelaria, ma comunque economico."

"Estaba con mis padres después de un par de semanas de no verlos hoy se nos presentó la posibilidad de almorzar.. y Oh sorpresa que escogimos bastante mal el restaurante.1. La milanesa de pollo que pedí llego súper seca y Q U E M A D A ! Como es posible que dejen salir un plato así ! También pedí de acompañamiento papas a la Francesa y pasta Alfredo la cual no sabía a absolutamente nada, simple, insípida.2. La milanesa de res llego igual de seca aunque no estaba quemada, para nada apetitosa 3. El bistec a caballo dejo muchísimo que desear por su sabor. 4. La limonada de coco no es buena, bebible pero casual, no tiene ningún mayor atractivo. Para completar el mal servicio las milanesas las pedimos para llevar después de un par de bocados porque en serio no era para nada apetitosa, decidimos dárselas a un habitante de calle. Vale la pena agregar que mientras esperaba el pedido para llevar me hicieron cambiar de mesa porque necesitaban la mesa para otros clientes. Pd. Le hice la sugerencia a una chica sobre lo qué pasó y fue bastante amable,supongo era la administradora o algo así y fue la única.. pues la mesera que me atendió ofrece un servicio malísimo ! Ah y la cuenta salió en más 90mil pesos."

"La Pola is definitely a "local" restaurant, by it's atmosphere and by it's clientele. The set menu should be enough to feed anyone and the waiter (owner???) is very efficient and seem to carry his smile all along the lunch rush.Few tables, ten if that, located just at the bottom of Montserrat.If you are not looking for anything fancy, but for simple and tasting food don't miss this place."

"The food was delicious, service impeccable and the restaurant itself very pleasant. The size of meals served me reminded of Cheesecake Factory, you will definitely get your money worth and have leftovers to take home. Casual elegance is how I would classify the restaurant, we...Haben Pasta Carbonara, it was al dente (and you could say it was homemade), osobuco, which was like butter and great wine pairing. Definitely recommend!"
