"We found this restaurant quite by accident down a cobbled alley near the cathedral. We had a quiet table outside. Not too busy, nor trendy, but the food was well prepared and the owner was very proud and pleased to see us. No English is spoken....but the point and smile method got us though! Scallop appetizer was perfect, and the pasta (squid ink with clams) was tasty. No pizza here! Wine was good, and we were able to sample a taste for approval even though we bought by the glass."

"Late Saturday night dinner, found still several tables occupied (and a significant and excessive level of noise coming from them , but apart from that the rest was pure bliss. Good service and reasonable prices, a good prosecco to start a splendid “uovo fritto” as an appetizer and cappellacci di bufala (with great salty anchovies as main course. Both sublime, as it was a small selection of grilled seafood (mussels,octopus, etc.. on a sweet peas sauce. Quite delicate. Spectacular semifreddo al torroncino (obviously locally sourced, being Cremona the home of torrone"
