"This was a special Valentine 's Day weekend, Febuary 11th 14th. Firenze had been closed for 2 years, because of COVID. As one of our favorite restaurants, we missed it terribly! The Valentine 's weekend was, as our waiter Silvino said, a dry run before full reopening, hopefully in mid March. The fixed menu was superb. We both had a delicious mixed green salad with candied walnuts, pink peppercorns red wine vinaigrette atop a goat cheese mascarpone base. For the Primi, we had Pappardelle Cinghiale with wild boar and Tagliatelle with truffle and porcini sauce. They were terrific. The Secondi was Agnello alla Scottadito with wood fire grilled lamb chops served with creamy polenta sauteed kale and Tagliata alla Robespierre with wood fire grilled, sliced beef tenderloin with garlic, green pepper rosemary served with potato croquettes roasted winter vegetables. Yum! We also had a very nice bottle of Nebbiolo wine with dinner. We were too full to to eat the dessert, so we took the Italian custard with balsamic strawberries and Pear strudel home for the next day. The staff and ambiance were both excellent. If you are looking for a quiet intimate dinner for 2, Whebn it reopens in early spring, Firenze wound be a very good choice"

"We've been looking for a decent Italian restaurant in Denver and found an outstanding one in The Cherry Tomato. From its friendly service to the delicious food, this restaurant doesn't disappoint. I highly recommend the uniquely prepared calamari appetizer and the Fruitte di Mare for the entree."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"Even with limited patrons, it took us an hour to get our food. My husband was very disappointed with his pork chops being too salty. I had the rib-eye meatball which was tasty, but nothing to rave about. The beets were very good. All in all it was very expensive for a meal that was average."

"Everything about this place is amazing: the super friendly service, the cool, laid-back atmosphere, and especially the food! "First time visitors and loved our experience and the food while a truly wonderful server, Carlos, added to our pleasure. Delicious food. The fish, cooked to perfection. Bone-in pork chop for me was so good. The menu is broad enough to satisfy most appetites. Expansive wine list for bottles and individual glasses. Tiramisu for dessert was the best!"
