"Looking for a bit of food and not wanting Chinese, Indian or Pizza we saw this little pub.Situated on a back street under the train line we didn't expect much.It was a lovely evening and we got a table outside. A lovely lady took our order and we asked if there was any food available, she said she would ask the cook as it was a little late for dinner.On her return she said a plate of mixed antipasti was all that was possible. We agreed that was great so had an ice cold Belgium beer while we waited.What a surprise when we received a beautiful platter of gorgeous nibbles. We stayed for a few more beers and was given some watermelon as well.A lovely friendly place and to top it off when I went to pay was told the food was free!If you're ever in Grenoble look out for here , in my experience you can't go wrong.Thank you for a super evening."

"Je ne recommande pas d'y manger si vous etes en groupe.Deja on avait reserve une table, on arrive, non il n'y a pas de reservation, on nous installe quand meme, bizarre sur la terrasse il y a une table prete pour 8 personnes...Service tres moyen, un des serveurs pas agreable du tout sur cette soiree. J'avais des amis etrangers avec moi, le bistro avait un menu anglais - point positif par contre le serveur ne voulait pas leur parler parce qu'il ne parle pas anglais.Je comprends bien, je n'attends pas d'un serveur de s'improvisionner bilingue mais quand meme ne pas vouloir prendre commande alors que le client pointe du doigt son choix sur le menu... Y a pas besoin d'etre bilingue pour ca. Heureusement apres on nous a change de serveur. C'est quand meme dommage. J'ose meme pas imaginer des touristes comment ils doivent etre traites s'ils n'ont pas quelqu'un qui parle francais dans leur groupe!En plus, longue attente pour avoir les plats, certes on est un groupe mais attendre une demi heure pour un carpaccio... J'ai eu honte d'avoir emmene mes amis a cette brasserie! Quelle belle image du service grenoblois!Je recommande pour se poser en terrasse et boire un verre si on est pas presse ! Pour le reste, allez ailleurs."

"We were dried by the advice of three advisors. the place was said hot and friendly. We didn't find him. We were promised a refined cuisine. 15 euros for a spaghetti carbo, it's arcade. the restaurant has a lot of Italian cooking books and well it should inspire a little more. mixed advice."
