"Eustacio opened his restaurant just for us when we arrived in town to look up the birth record of our grandfather. He was not expecting our group of 6 but within minutes we had an antipasto feast followed by dishes prepared freshly at Eustacio's discretion. We loved every course and we ate till we couldn't eat another bite yet Eustacio finished our meal with wonderful sweets to finish off the afternoon! We enjoyed an unforgettable feast on a rainy May afternoon with a very warm welcome from Eustacio."

"On our regular visit to Italy we took the time to find out where Vittorio and Sergio had moved to? (They were previously at the Buongustaio) Tourists don't be put off getting to the restaurant just follow the sat nav it will get you there! What a wonderful place, it was busy with the noise of locals not a tourist in sight (always a good sign) The food excellent! This is their new venture, they are so proud of what they have achieved and rightly so. I notice in some of the reviews they say the staff were rude- not in our case. It was very busy and perhaps they may have been underpressure but they were attentive and very helpful. We were told that they also do bed and breakfast now, it was late so we didn't have chance to look at the rooms, however if the standard is the same as their food then excellent. I am so pleased to have found this place- so in short if you want some where to eat that is good quality and reasonably priced, portion size wonderful, atmosphere great then this is it!!! Well untill our next visit ......................................xxx"

"Armando his wife went out of the way to make us comfortable. We ate like kings queens . Local dishes , antipasti all either homemade or from local suppliers /producers . We felt like home from home . Highly recommended….. we will be back as our family history is from this peaceful village in the mountains "

"Oh my word. Do not eat for three days if you visit this restaurant. The antipasti are the classic dishes of the area and just keep coming. We thought this was the meal only to be further regaled by pasta anbd then the main courses. The restaurant is rustic, service extremely friendly and desserts calorific and excellent. An absolutely first rate very authentic experience in the fresh mountain air. Well worth the detour."
