"We had a lunch there a day, only pasta, and that was pretty good. when we had a complete dinner where fish and meet was really bad quality, as well as their service. non aircon and position is on a very busy road."

"Bad service and mediocre food (at least for the area) trumps all in my opinion. We went to this place mainly based on its lakeside location. But in the end, we received poor wait service and the food subpar compared to competing restaurants in the area. You're better served going to Porlezza or other restaurants nearby. Service: I'll start with this one since it was my biggest qualm. We sat for 20 minutes at least before someone came to offer us something to drink. The rest of our experience mimicked this first one- slow and inattentive service. The icing on the cake was when we received the bill and asked for it to be split. We were told that they couldn't do that because of the way they balance their finances. Then the manager argued we should have asked before he brought the check. Mind you it was just 2 of us. After arguing with us the manager finally agreed but the experience left a sour taste in our mouths. Food: Average Italian food for the area. The pizza was overgreased (had the quattro formaggia). Two pasta dishes I had were undercooked- how can this be possible in a small Italian town?! Ambience: The views were impressive, I'll give them that. The other issues I had with this place are potentially correctable, so hopefully if I ever return, they manage to fix those."
