"We were shocked to see that the Resturante Casa Brigida was closed when we visited Playa Blanca this October. It may not have looked the fanciest location on the Marina but it served superb cuisine and the staff were both friendly and helpful. Sad, very sad"

"We first discovered this place in 1996. Every visit to island we have visited and never been disappointed in anyway. So when I asked hubby where he would like dinner for his 60th, he said there was only 1 place to go. Last night was his birthday and we went for dinner. We were totally spoilt by José and his lovely wife, thank you both. We will return as always on our next visit."

"Good points....view..... Bad points my mixed grill was inedible. Pieces of preheated meat that were so dry you could not even cut it. It was the worst meal I have been served for many years and certainly not up to the standard of other Lanzarote...restaurants. The pork literally snapped in half. They replaced the pork and it was totally raw in the middle so too dangerous to eat. I told the manager I was very disappointed and he did not appear to care and agreed it was too dry to eat but seemed more interested in us paying. We paid the bill in full and left hungry and extremely disappointed. NEVER AGAIN. AVOID. Maybe the fish is better?"

"Kind and professional staff, we were in two and we ordered a mixed grill and a mixed fried. the fish was fresh but not treated. in the sense that the fish was whole with hydrofoil even if small. the slightly oily fried was heavy and cooking some fish was excessive. the account (with a glass of wine, water and bread) of just over 20 euros per head is right for the proposed quality."
