"My third Michelin experience and by far the best. Wait staff were very professional. Service was very slick and staff were attentive but didn't feel overbearing. The restaurant is in a very large beautiful hall which means you are far away from over tables and staff but can still watch everything going on which is perfect Food is phenomenal, first class fine dining. Amazing and interesting flavours. Wine pairing is good (the only area that wasn't excellent, but still very good) Has 2 completely different menus a 5 course and a 7 you can order al a carte. We had the 7, one day we will come back again to try the 5! Don't miss out if you are in Bologna"

"The street was alive with local color and very present vibe so the plan was to eat where the locals eat. There was an eatery recommended by a proxy Italian but it was closed for renovations. After sussing out the blocks, we settle with this one as it had a buffet set up as well as an a la carte menu. We sat down, asked about the menu and it seemed off limits... just for show we understood. So off to the pricier a la carte plan. Well, be danged if someone does not sit down at an adjacent table and is allowed to go the buffet and eat the food which seemed only for show. With suitable pseudo Italian outrage, we were then allowed to partake of the buffet. So don't get stuffed, so to speak. And be there before 2100h if you are going because at that point a the buffet dissolves and new pricier chalkboard menu emerges. Although a chalk board it was the same two nights running. Can't say if it was three because not going back. Not inspiring."
