"This restaurant with its beautiful beer garden is located above Witten Annen in Rtg. Herdecke opposite the Ardey mini golf course. It is a detached house with a larger car park on the right side. There are a few steps up to the entrance. In the entrance area there is a large beverage counter on the right. This area is decorated with many Italian details including 2 beautiful old restored Vespa scooters. Right behind the counter is a smaller dining room and left the large dining room. We visit this restaurant, which has been in existence since 2007 (we know the managing director and a part of the staff already from old Bochum times EDIT 2018: the former managing director and his wife Kellnerin are no longer busy here, but the pizza baker and the chef are fortunately still there again and again spontaneously Sunday afternoon after 15:00 with fairies, if it is no longer so full there, or even occasionally sporadically within the week. We were welcomed very nicely and accompanied to our table. In the large dining room, where we got a table with 5 people today, there is a large stone oven at the end. On the way to our table we came past the kitchen, in which you can look very well in it looked very clean again today. However, if the large dining room is full of guests, the noise scene can get a bit higher there, but not unpleasant. The tables are beautifully covered with a fabric table top and fabric-served, as well as a flower vase and a candle. Salt and pepper shakers are already present on the tables. Beverages were taken in quite a short time with the enrichment of the menus and the 2 special cards, where various fish and meat dishes were added. In the large dining room, these dishes are also partly on a very large chalkboard. The drinks were well-tempered and the beer also tapped properly. The further beverage delivery always worked very quickly. The main dish was twice pasta and three different pizzas. I had the Rigatoni Napoli with additional paprika and onions molto picante for 6. 1x Pizza Hawai, 1x Tagliatelle al Salmone (with salmon, parsley in a cream sauce for 8. or 8,50€ and 2x pizza salami ham, of which a nice picante. The PLV can be equipped with 5 stars for our today's consumed dishes in this restaurant, because the dishes are not more expensive than in small pizzerias and were really perfect for quality. After ordering, 2 fresh pizza rolls and a total of 2 pots with herbal cream were served in a basket for each guest. After a pleasant waiting period, our dishes were served simultaneously. My very hot pasta dish looked very good and also tasted very delicious, beautiful al` dente and sharp. The lady with the Tagliatelle al Salmone was also enthusiastic about the quality, the salmon content and the portion size. The fact that she's already thrown such a big portion has more than rareness. The pizzas came from the stone oven and were very thin, typical original Italian. You could watch the pizza baker from our table at work, he was with great passion. The size of the pizzas was already big and no matter what, all very well occupied, whether with salami, ham, etc. The pizzas have tasted my three companions again very well I myself have also tried some of the salami pizza to my full satisfaction. The Peperonis were also hearty sharp. The service is very attentive here and at eye contact immediately an operation comes to the table. Whether it was about the large pepper mill I asked about after the food serving, the reordering of the drinks, etc., it always works smoothly here. Even if we sit a little longer after dinner and order further rounds of drinks and then partly desserts or espresso, you won't be driven here to get the tables free again for other guests. In the meantime, you will also find out whether everything is OK or something would be missing. There's also a reasonable cash print when paying. Then we were kindly adopted.
