"We were in Munich for a romantic reconnection my wife and I of 17 years. That long over do honeymoon I guess you could say. I was not expecting a romantic vibe here so that was expected. But what I was expecting to have, which they are world renown for, was their Black Forest cake. This cafe, which has been touted on international tv shows for this cake, their pretzels and all the other luscious deserts and chocolates they serve, and the one thing I understood their most popular for is not available. Bad planning in the kitchen I'd say. May want to think about finding a back-up pastry chef who can make these in absence of your primary pastry chef. Surely someone else in the team knows how to make them. How do you run out by noon?Otherwise, our experience was good. Took about 5 minutes to get a Waiter to come and take our order, and then another 10 to get two coffees and a piece of Raspberry tart in lieu of the BFC. To save time, I bought the pretzel myself at the counter in the way out to save time. It was an unforgettable moment. Next time in Munich, I'd try again."
