"Ok,you want to sit outside and watch the bustling life in the centre of Füssen in Summer,then this is the place for you!Just remember to have stacks of money available like any good tourist who visits our wonderful town.The ice is good and the kids...love it,but like the other Italian Ice Cafe in the town,prices are sky high.Ohterwise this is a pleasant place to enjoy a beer and an ice."

"We checked into our hotel down the road a bit late, and the host recommended this restaurant to us. Located within Pension Carina, it was just a quick ride down the street from our lodging at Dreimaderlhaus really, we could have walked easily. We...shared a big table with another (German) couple, and when they left, an American family was seated with us. Making new friends on the road is so fun, so this suited us well. The food was AMAZING. Highly recommend the käsespätzle! Perfect, hearty meal to finish off the long day at a leisurely pace."

"Typical Bavarian cuisine with excellent dishes and medium large portions at very high prices. in the pedestrian zone to fussen, easily identifiable and in a typical environment with waiters dressed in lederhosen and very friendly. two pieces: the first is that the kitchen closes at 21; we were lucky to arrive at 20.15/30 so that we could eat, but after us many other tourists were sent away just because they had already closed the kitchen. It's true, their oance is eating first, but it's true that you're a highly touristic place... a little flexibility would be better. second do not accept credit cards: Here too, you are in a tourist place with millions of tourists coming and going, not accepting the pos is a bit absurd, but vabbé. I recommend"

"We spent our last evening in Germany in Fussen, where we started. We went to Gasthaus Zum Schwanen on the advice our tour guide, Federico, and we are so glad we did! It is run by a lovely husband and wife and they have done...a wonderful job. There is a lovely area you can dine out. It was busy and we ate inside, where the restaurant has been re-done with clean lines, interesting art and it is modern while still being warm and inviting. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful and the beer and wine delicious. The prices were also very reasonable and the portions were more than enough. I'm so glad our last night in Germany was in this lovely restaurant. It's also in such a wonderful location to go for a stroll after your delicious meal. If I ever get back to Fussen (and I hope I will), I'll make sure to re-visit Gasthaus Zum Schwanen."

"Stopped by for a cup of tea and a cake on a warm but wet afternoon. There is a choice of 15 teas and any number of delightful cakes all served in a charming room with first class decor. I would heartily recommend the Apple...Strudel with warm rum vanilla sauce; delightful!"
