"I happened to find myself in this town called Marktredwitz on business. It is close to the Czech border off Highway If ever you happen to be near there, go visit the town and have dinner at the Am Strand. Almost everything was closed...but this place opened at We went for a beer and wurst and came back around You walk through a small door that says Gastzimmer which I think means sitting room or coffee room. The decor is very local with tables and a few round tables for groups. We were told about a specialty which is called KronFleish which is the diaphragm of the cow. In English it is the skirt steak. It was chewy but had great flavour. Came with spaetzle, a classic German noodle. A nice fresh salad and an apple strudel for dessert. With of wine came out to less than euros. Probably the most authentic and genuine German meal I had in some time."
