"On our stop towards Venice we booked a hotel in Rosenheim. On a saturdayevening we strolled through the center and asked for a table for two at Gasthaus zum Stockhammer. Although it was quite busy a week before the oktoberfest, they sat us down on...the side of the terrace. The menu is full of German cuisine. Schnitzel, würst, etc. I loved it. Service was quick, despite it being busy. Nice bonus was the fact that lots of locals dressed up in oktoberfest costumes lederhosen and dirndl dresses"

"Das "Flötzinger Bräu Gasthaus" in der Rosenheimer Kaiserstraße wurde von Grund auf renoviert und heißt jetzt "Flötzinger Stammhaus". Zum Glück hat man den rustikalen Charakter des Lokals erhalten und bietet damit dem Gast ein schönes Ambiente. Hinzu kommt ein sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Servicepersonal. Eine Reservierung ist angesagt, besonders am Wochenende. Wenn das Lokal dann voll ist, kann es ganz schön laut werden und damit eine Unterhaltung am Tisch ziemlich beeinträchtigen. Vier Bildschirme versorgen die Fußball-Fans mit Live-Übertragungen.Leider muss das Thema Essen auch noch erwähnt werden, denn hier besteht Verbesserungsbedarf! Von fünf verschiedenen Gerichten am Tisch hat lediglich das Münchner Schnitzel überzeugt. Beim Steak musste die Beilage (Pommes) sogar extra bezahlt werden. Witzig ist der "bayerische Tapas-Teller" als Vorspeise mit Wurstsalat, Obadza, Leberkässemmel, Münchner Schnitzel und Apfelstrudel."
