"Haven't been to this IHOP in a very long time, but did today being that I was in the area with my friend Darryl. He loves his burgers and Mountain Dew. The IHOP in East Peoria continues to be closed and this is the only one around here. We weren't disappointed with our meal or service. The employees were very cordial even though everyone these days are short handed."

"My wife and I could have selected many other restaurants last night. We should have. It all started out pretty well, ordered an appetizer and beer. Both good, but we had to send back the dip for the dip we really ordered. Ah, but we got both (beer and appetizer) with no silverware or napkins. We proceeded to flag down the hostess to request a napkin. We received a pleasant enough response, but received nothing for over 10 minutes. Our appetizer is now finished (we used the little drink napkin under our water). Flagged down the hostess again. No apology to us that she may have forgot, ha, but she does finally get us a napkin. Where is our server during all this?? Who knows? She must have disappeared for at least 15 minutes. Food arrives (brought out by someone else, still no server) My shrimp are acceptable, warm, but nothing great. My wife’s chicken, shrimp, steak wrap combo is cold, of course and not too tasty. No shrimp sauce. Server finally arrives (15 20 minutes since seeing her last). How is everything she asks. My wife explains all of the above, plus we had no opportunity to order a another beer. Server is clueless as to her part in this service fiasco but says she will have the manager speak to us. Ha! More time…. She finally brings the bill and asks if we would like a free desert. No manager, ever. Either the server never did get the manager or he/she had no guts to face us. One our worst dining experiences ever. We will never return to this establishment and would not recommend to anyone."
