"Like many others, my new husband and I chose to be married on this lovely little island. The evening the in laws arrived there was little open past 9:00 pm which is when they made their way from the ferry. The kitchen in the restaurant accommodated us with appetizers which were terrific an amazing fish soup, a cured salmon appetizer, and a plate of delicious cheese served with the local brew which is also excellent. We returned the next night to try a fuller menu our hotel restaurant was not open for dinner. I had the flank steak with vegetables which was first rate and my husband had the pork main course which he finished off happily and almost licked the plate. We paired our dinners with a wonderful Lafite Rothschild Bourdeaux and cognac. If you're worried about getting a first class meal here, fret no more. The manager Janne, is tri lingual, warm, and charming. We had two great evenings and can't wait to return and try some more selections."
