"Pleasant hotel/restaurant on the outskirts of town, from the main touring railway. Quite a limited but authentic German lunch menu, but the cook was more than willing to fulfill the special wishes of a member of our party. We arrived shortly after 12 o'clock (with a reserved table) and had the dining room for us. By 12.30 all tables were occupied and by locals, not tourists. Recommended."

"Who loves the rustic German cuisine, is located in the “Hotel restaurant bookingfürst with its restaurant L`Eckerchen”, near the autobahnabfahrt bad nenndorf directly on b65 and only 1 km from bad nenndorf. for that it is also worth a little away. they only have to have experienced themselves. After we were there for the first time in the evening for dinner, we had dinner there a little later and were very surprised by the very tasteful eating. especially the traditional wild dishes from the local forests were a joy for us. the varied dishes, are always fresh (what they just taste) with the special lighter. the restaurant L`Eckerchen is for us, a jewel of the German hospitality close to bad nenndorf. it is an excellent address for very good eating. the foods are versatile and delicious, simply a culinary experience. we can book the restaurant L`Eckerchen in the hotel restaurant only need to be seen and experienced. a real surprise and a real secret tipp!"

"Italian peak gastronomy in a unique/satisfactory environment when you ask in bad nenndorf and its surroundings, ten people for the best Italian, you get at least nine times the answer that you should go to the “Taormina”. we ourselves were already very often here and also know the competitors in the environment. but each time we notice that the creativity and flexibility, coupled with an excellent quality of antonio and crew, has not changed. After our last visit on a Thursday evening in the february, we decided to appreciate this consistent performance by this feedback. the “Taormina” restaurant, as you can also see on the photos, is a little hidden at the large road of bad nenndorf near the Rathaus. in front of the entrance area is located among the old trees - for the summer days - very beautiful rustic beer garden. the restaurant itself is simply “typical Italian”. it begins with the greeting, the typical Italian institution, the matching music and of course with the smell of pizza and pasta lying in the air. opposite the entrance door is the same and in the window area of the first space are approx. 5 very beautifully covered tables. in the rear area there are two more rooms, so that for about 50 people space is available. we had received our favourite table with a eckbank at the window after reservation. as an appetizer we had ordered a pizza bread with garlic for just 3,00 €. this very tasty brot has the size of a small pizza and is completely sufficient for two people. as a main dish we had once “Polio gorgonzola ( chicken breast in gorgonzolasoße) for 10,50 € and the tagliatelle (bandnudeln with cream sauce and ham) for 8,50 €. both dishes were very tasty and freshly made according to own Sicilian recipes. here everything is made by itself emphasizes the wet antonio from Sicily. he doesn't get into the kitchen. as a drink we chose the also delicious “Dunkle schaumburger Landbier” from the fass. to the conclusion, there was a small attention from the wet, yet an Italian grappa. simply “very good” italinieisch. a typical Italian as we like it! a la prossima! until next time in the taormina!"
