"A restaurant located in the heart of Bellingham downtown one of the few restaurants that was described in the blog that caught my attention and I came to try. Based on the restaurant's name surely it has specialty dishes with oyster. The recommended dishes were beef carpaccio and pan-fried oysters. My friend and I were relatively disappointed with the pan fried oysters the oysters are fresh and yummy; however, the fried layer is a bit too hard and thick. The beef capaccio was fine. By the end of the day, I was actually impressed by randomly ordered oyster chower. It was not spectacular but it was nice and delicious."

"We have taken our family to dinner and this is the best Thai food we had for years. our grandson is a very special eater and he loved eating. each dish had its own taste and the tellers were plentiful, no tiny dishes. my two complained were the music above our head was loud enough to reach the whole range, which makes it too loud where we sat. I have hearing devices, so it's my problem. the satay early rolls were very good, but I'm not used to the prices being so high, the children love them, so it's a little problem. the personal was very patient and helped us to order a series of times, excellent customer service. they have a hot sauce that they should bottle and sell because it is so good! ask for a taste. I don't know the difference between thai lao, but overall the best Thai food in years."

"We had the pleasure of taking two guests from Italy to Keenan's for lunch recently. We wanted to find a place that showed off Bellingham's beauty and offered PNW seafood. Keenan's fit the bill perfectly. We were greeted warmly and offered either inside or outside seating. Our guests wanted outside so we were seated on the covered porch. Heaters provided just enough heat to make it comfortable on this beautiful spring day We shared a hummus appetizer and then moved on to cream cakes, fish tacos, and seafood chowder. All of the dishes were flavorful and well prepared. The crab cakes had plenty of crab, the chowder was loaded with fish, and the hummus was perfectly seasoned and tasty. Keenan's is always an attractive place to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner and we'll prepared food."

"Came here for the first time since another place was delayed opening for 30 minutes. Glad we did. Curry dish was very good but it's city wide that Thai Spicy--level 5--is wimpy in this geographic area. I'm used to level 4 in San Francisco and Los Angeles areas being like fire. Level 5 in Bellingham is more like a 2 to me--after trying 6 to 7 Thai restaurants in this area. Hmmm? I've eaten with individuals born and raised in Thailand AND others who lived and worked for 6+ years in Thailand and when I asked for level 4 damn it was flavorful and HOT. My mouth was on fire for at least 2 hours after the meal. This was at restaurants in downtown Los Angeles and Westminster, CA. Perhaps there is more of a Northern Thailand influence in the greater Los Angeles area. Grew up eating all kinds of Asian food growing up in Los Angeles and wife grew up, where I met her, in Monterey Park, CA. I'm gonna have to research this. Enjoyed the meal and the great service. Will come back here again and again."

"Finally got a chance to try this place out tonight after eyeballing it for months. Absolutely amazing pizza. You can really tell how fresh the food is here. Also great customer service. Our server Tom was top notch and went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasurable experience. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants! Nothing can disappoint you here!"
