"I had been working with Tracy and Erica on a surprise party for 20 guests in March 4th and cannot express enough how amazing it was! The food came out quickly and the staff were absolutely amazing My daughter was surprised and the afternoon went great We didn’t have to wait for drinks or food! Thank you so much for everything my family enjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness of all the staff!!! Thanks again"

"Went back for dinner last night. We were 4 and had spaghetti w/meatballs, beef Bourguignon, roasted lamb shank, and Fettuccine w/seafood. Starters were burrata, and carrot/ginger soup. Our dinner and evening were excellent! Welcome atmosphere and friendly service. Not just for special occasions, Chanterelle is a perfect once a month dinner spot. It wont disappoint! (Again)Dinner at Chanterelle Bistro was outstanding! We were 2 couples, had the mushroom risotto, beef bourginion, salmon, and spaghetti w/cheese filled meatballs. Everything was very good, the risotto was perfect with lots of varieties of mushrooms and creamy Parmigiano.Perfect atmosphere for date night or just dinner. Our server was patient while we chattered away before ordering appetizers of Crab cakes and burrata salad on heirloom tomatoes.Chanterelle Bistro in Bowmanville won't disappoint! We'll be back. Too much fun to take pics."

"Came to this restaurant for dinner with parents and siblings for an evening. big mistake. the service was absolutely terrible. the waitress has forgotten the half of our drinks we had to ask twice. our appetizer was served on a dish. Frozen lol and my dinner of steak and lobster was so bad that I'd go home to my dog. the steak was so bad quality that it ran huge venes (not fat, venes) throughout the entire cut. the damen washroom was soou incredibly warm that it was hard to breathe and literally broke a sweat within seconds of being in there. then to cover everything at the end, the waitress filthy dishes fell into my sisters. over everything was a terrible experience from beginning to end. pity, this place was good again. I'm not sure if there are new peculiarities or not, but what a serious downgrade. will never come back"

"The restaurant opened shortly before COVID hit so only getting there now. Service was good, food was good. It is a bar type place, pool tables in basement. Did not go and look. We went during the week and not very busy. I had Penne a la Vodka my friend had the pork shnitzel. Enjoyed them both. Very large menus. Music was a bit loud. parking, street parking or about 4 spots behind the restaurant. There are public parking lots in the area."
