"My wife and I were in the mood for some fish for dinner and didn’t want to drive beachside so we gave this location of Bonefish Grill a try. We have lived here in Daytona a little 3 years but hadn’t tried yet as we have been trying all the local restaurants (and there are so many). It was a stormy night so when we arrived around 6:00pm, there were only a handful of tables occupied and few patrons at the bar so we were hopeful that it was not a bad sign. Thankfully, it wasn’t and we had a very good meal! It was still Happy Hour so my wife ordered a blueberry lemon-drop martini and I got the blueberry sangria while we looked over the regular and a pretty extensive specials menu. The server brought some of the yummy bread (we had forgotten how much we liked the bread there) and pesto – olive oil dipping sauce that we noshed on. We started with the popular bang-bang shrimp and it was so tasty. We split one house salad (as an addon to an entrée) and it was very good. My wife had the blackened shrimp with Mexican street corn (and the portion size for the corn was huge) from the specials menu and really enjoyed. She brought half of it home for lunch the next day. I ordered the special fish of the day which was swordfish that was topped with spinach, artichoke hearts, and a nice sauce. For my 2 sides, I got the jasmine rice (tasty) and the upgraded side (extra charge) kung-po Brussel sprouts that were FANTASTIC! We had no room for dessert and were very satiated. Also, our server Casey was very efficient and friendly and earned herself a nice tip. We will have to add Bonefish into our rotation of places for dinner and also remember they are open for lunch."

"We had the best time being served by Sandra for a large family gathering this June!! She was excellent and so helpful with recommendations and entertainment for our younger diners. She was attentive so sweet! Highly recommend; the food was delicious they even sang a special birthday song for a third birthday. Will come back!"

"The waitress took care of so many tables and our food came so late. the coffee was cold and the bread with the cappacio was old and hard. not happy with our meal. we always have good food and service at this place, but this time we are not satisfied. she changed the coffee but and very pleasant. She told me the coffee was cold because of the cream. as if we've never been drinking coffee."

"Upon arrival, and mention of our reservation to the hostess, she told us that at this moment they were only offering seating at the bar. I tried to politely mention again that I had a reservation, just to encounter the same reply, giving us the choice of bar or waiting, not on the best tone. Not a mention on how much wait or that she apologized for the situation. We turned around to leave, and on our way out, she mockingly said have a good night. I turned around, ask for the manager and briefly explained the situation to her. She was at least empathetic and apologized for the situation, thing that I cannot say about the hostess after all the mess. After my experience, I have read similar negative reviews during the past weeks, which were replied by the management. Having bad customer service is bad, but acknowledging the problem and doing nothing is aggravated disregard. I will not step foot again in this location. There are too many restaurants in the Daytona area to stand this treatment."
