"Excellent cocktails and food. The crab stuffed artichoke was absolutely amazing! The bread service is incredible as well. The shrimp and grits are my favorite and they did not disappoint. The salmon was delicious and a large portion. Our service from the moment we walked in to leaving was top notch. Everyone was friendly, professional and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!"

"This place has no phone to take take-out orders. I arrived at my hotel wanting to order from a local business. After attempting to call twice and getting a voicemail that in no way explained the fact that they don 't take phone orders, I walked in and was told We don 't have a phone. I have an argument for any rebuttal to this being a major fail in customer service. Notably: 1) If you 're understaffed; pay more and you won 't be. 2) If you get a lot of orders where no one shows to pick up the food; have customers pay upfront and (in situations where that doesn 't work) hand out the food to regulars for free in order to foster customer word-of-mouth praise. 3) If you just don 't want to deal with the influx in the type of customers that order take-out and door dashers; your inconsiderate and don 't deserve to own a downtown service-based business. It 's 2023. Your job as a food-service-based business is to make convenience a top priority. Any amount of making a business have a feel of exclusivity is an outmoded, egotistical, and anti-progress in the realm of customer service. Get better."

"My husband and I were here for the first time yesterday since the opening. Atmosphere is beautiful and cozy. Love the decor and all of the pigs! We had the cuban sandwich with fries, and it was delicious! Great selection of both bottled and draft beers. Service was great! Fast, friendly and super helpful with questions! We will definitely be back and are so excited to have The Flying Pig Alehouse in downtown Delaware!"

"Lots of good options in Delaware and this one is toward the top of the list. Located on the main street (Sandusky) on the very south end of the old down town area. It is a little off the higher traffic area of downtown and there are several empty store fronts next door. That may make parking a little easier since most of it is street parking. The inside is very nice. Bright decor and is clean. Not a lot of ambiance, but a good modern vibe in a small space. It was busy on a Thursday evening, but not full. I had a reservation for 6pm and was seated promptly when I arrived at a high top. If you prefer a non high top you should request on your reservation as table heights were all taken when I was there. Started with a manhattan, nothing special but it was good on a standard pour. Ordered the deviled eggs as a appetizer which were incredible. Fresh and had a little zip for flavor. The entree I ordered the lasagna it was FANTASTIC. Flavor was perfect and portion was large. Was a little challenging to eat in the dish it was served in. It was one of the best I have ever had. The server was handling the entire dining area by herself for almost the first 35 minutes we were there. She was friendly and incredibly helpful, but there was no way she could keep up with everything timely. Eventually a young man came out to help, then another person about 20 minutes after that. In addition the kitchen was ridiculously slow. With the lack of help our entree order was not taken until we were finished with with the deviled eggs. The real wait was almost 45 minutes to get our entree from the time we ordered. The whole experience was close to two hours. The waitress apologized several times. If not for the slow kitchen time this review would easily been a 4 star. Drinks 3 star Appetizer 4 star Entree 4.5 star Server 4 star Speed of service 2 star The food is worth it ! I may have just came on a bad night for the kitchen. I will go back and give it another chance. The food is too good not to try again"
