"Visited for dinner during Pierogi Week in Cleveland. The place was packed, as they were one of the restaurants participating in Pierogi Week specials. We were quoted a 90 minute wait. While we waited for our table and the other half of our party, we sat at the bar for a bit. We had some drinks and noticed how many carry out orders the restaurant had. Our table was ready in about an hour and we sat down at one of the tables in the back room. Our server was very slow, didn't check on us very often, and it took forever to get our food and check when we were finally done. However, the food was excellent. I was the only one who didn't get a pierogi special, as they didn't have an option without dairy. So I opted for their Cobb Salad with Derby Dressing, minus the blue cheese. The salad is something I will definitely come back for it was all about that dressing, along with the fresh cooked crispy bacon and avocado. I think if we came during a normal day, we'd have a better experience. With that said, I'm still giving 4 stars based on the food and atmosphere. Cozy, neighborhood bar and grill."

"Good food, good service, but they will open the windows to the terrace bar something too often for my taste. it makes the front of the restaurant warm and I would prefer to sit a nice cool table. if they want to sit outside in the summer. that should not affect me. we come here after football matches and want it cooler! except the. great place to eat and drink."

"Amazing! Came here to break our 13 hour fast and loved it! Our waitress faith was nice and helpful. Our wings were fresh which is surprising(most places don’t have that especially with buy 16 get 16 free). The burger was also tasty."

"The staff here was very friendly and fast in service. The food was relatively good compared to other seafood in the area. For example 1lb snow crab legs at a point 25 min from here was 62 dollars and at Crafty Crab you can get 1/2 lb of legs 1/2 lb of shrimp, corn, potatoes and a lobster dick for 48 dollars! We also had the fried Calamari and steamed oysters. The Kalamari was a little chewing. Cooking seafood was just a little overcooked, but the spices were delicious! Overall a good experience."

"We went on Valentines Day, which may have contributed to the noise and some service issues. However, these did not detract from the outstanding food, nor will they keep us from visiting again. I liken Gauchos to a Mongolian hot pot you are brought your steak on a large heated stone, on which you cook the meat yourself as you slice off each piece. I had the Surf and Turf, which was great, and my wife had the same without the shrimp. Next time, I would get the tostones as an app rather than the plantain, which were too sweet for my wife as an appetizer. The desserts were outstanding the churros were great, but the lemon Panna cotta (in all but name) was a winner. I don't like citrus desserts normally, and I would order that again. I ordered the cabbage and carrot salad, but got the same salad as my wife who had the normal salad. The Gauchos dressing is wonderful, a lightly garlicky vinaigrette, so this wasn't a big deal. The table next to us had an issue with their order as well, but the wait staff was great. I chalked these minor issues up to it being a busy night. This is a great date night place if you like meat. The normal menu has a vegetarian option, but be honest if you're bringing a vegetarian to an Argentinian steak house, you've got bigger problems than what to feed them, as do they. Bring the carnivores and your wallet good food isn't cheap."
