"All the food was amazing and locally sourced. The home made onion sage bread starter (free) was possibly the best bread I'm ever tasted and warm from the oven. My rolled soufflé was delicious as was my partner's grilled salmon. My soufflé came with the soup of the day which was a cream of curried cauliflower. Soufflé was awesome and not something I have very often. The ambiance is very elegant in an old Victorian home and the hosts are very welcoming. Great experience!"

"Nous avions une chambre à l'hôtel et c'est sans hésiter que nous avons dîné au Samuels bistro car la decoration nous semblait sympathique. La nourriture était excellente mais dommage que le repas ai été gâché par un service expéditif, il n'était pourtant que 19:30... Le serveur (qui s'occupe également de la réception de l'hôtel) a même oublié une partie de la commande... Le plat principal a été présenté alors que nous n'avions pas encore terminé l'entrée... Idem pour l'addition !! Le restaurant (qui se veut de bon niveau) ne propose ni expresso, ni digestif."
