"We discovered this restaurant by chance during a walk and stayed there for dinner. Great Italian, from the appetizer, main dish to the dessert a palate. Pasta homemade and the red wine a dream. The service very nice and warm. We felt very comfortable there and definitely come back."

"Kopie vom rk 07.09.14 in general: the restaurant “Green Forest” , we have been around 18 years back and were curious when we were still getting the paprika carvings that we had in good memory. are there the youths that were taken over by the elders? Yes, they were, my wife even knew the first name of the young woman. we were so close to still delighted to pay with the owner about the gastronomy that the hotel and the second is in wallau (alter hof) as well as the paprikasoße entertained. the mother had not betrayed the recipe at that time. here also the eppelwoi itself is made. the courtyard between the gastronomy and the hotel was new for us after 18 years. it is a partly old wooden table with garden chairs such a “Mediterranean with old olive tree and much green. the garden was well visited with guests and we felt very comfortable. service: we were supplied by the owner with drinks and a hand cheese, for which eating – paprika with brot was then the sister and chef responsible. the brother came to get the chatter with us. Eat: we had ordered us as an appetizer a double box with music at 4.80€ for both of us. there were 2 pieces, very good through, beautiful delicious sauce with vinegar, oil, pfeffer salt, cumin and the music – wobble. it was a good gray brot that was warmed up a bit because the baker on Sunday morning does not bake fresh bread. the main dish consisted of a small paprika carving at 5,50 € with a heated stream for me and my wife. the two carvings have tasted us very well and the paprika sauce had the certain good sharpness, since the nase has already reported. beverages: eppelwoi sprayed, 2 x 0.4 l to 2.40 € as well as a Rheingau drink with 0.2l semi-dry to 2.30 € as dessert there was still a willi from the lower sea to 1.90€ each to digest, as well as this again from the cook. ambiente: we had a free table in the garden area for both of us. the natives made a clean impression on us, the toilet system was not rated as not used. we hope that it will not take so long until we visit it locally."
