"We hadn't been here for a few years and we were so glad to rediscover this wonderful restaurant last night. We had reservations for 7 and arrived about 10 minutes early. There was no one at the maitre di station but we were acknowledged by 5-6 servers who were running around and after about 5 minutes were shown to our table. Upon being seated we were greeted by our waitress who filled our water glasses and said she'd be back to take our drink orders. She returned promptly and the dinner was off to a good start. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails which included my Ocean Bleu Martini, a Margarita, a Manhattan and a Sidecar. Appetizers were ordered and we loved the calamari with ranch dressing and the lump crab cake was good as always. Full of crab meat, not filler! Three of us also chose the seafood bisque, which may have been the best thing ever! Each of us had a cup brimming with creamy seafood-scallops, shrimp, and even a mussel. They had a special which I enjoyed, a corvina fish from Brazil. It was very much like a sea bass, white, flaky, and mild tasting which I chose prepared as pan seared. They served it with a beurre blanc. Delicious! My husband had the surf and turf and was very pleased. My daughter had the pan seared scallops and my son got the 12 oz. NY strip. Unlike some other upscale restaurants, they included 2 sides with the entree, which was nice. Home baked flaky rolls were offered with the salad course as well. The dessert tray was loaded with so many choices. I asked if any were made in house and two of the tortes were, so we had the coconut and the almond tortes to share. They were wonderful too. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer. She explained it was her first night, although she performed like a pro. The restaurant itself hasn't changed much over the years but I think the ladies room had a makeover as it was very nicely done in a more modern vibe. If you're in the mood for a good seafood restaurant you really can't do much better than The Nest. The menu is filled with so many tempting options, it's hard to make a choice. It there is surely something for everyone who likes seafood or beef."

"Had a pleasant visit delicious meal. Wait staff was very nice and attentive. We had the fried mozzarella red sauce appetizer. Very enjoyable. Next came the wedding soup which was delicious. It was packed full of savory items chicken, meatballs, carrots. For dinner I had the seafood Denunzio. It had scallops, shrimp, on top of crab filled spaghetti with a white sauce that could be scooped up with bread for days. Highly recommend this dish! All items came out in perfect timing. Great place to have a nice family meal."

"I'm a food critic and eat a lot. Mimi's is a diamond in the rough...may she want it to stay that way..we ordered the filled banana pepper for an appetizer, savory and just delicious!!! Then I ordered chicken marsala tender enough to cut with a fork, the engraving/ sauce light, but very tasty, with a plentiful office of crispy roasted potatoes and fresh green beans...delicious!!! my husband ordered linguini with shrimps and crabs, the sauce was light and tasteful, not too heavy and exaggerated... the salads were exactly the right size and fresh as well as the warm but crusty bread that was baked on the premises that completes the meal...a BYOB so bring a beautiful dry red or pinot grigio!!! SALUT!!!! Can't wait to go back....and ohhhhhhhh the homemade desserts.. but that can be another assessment at some point."
