"I can’t believe that i haven’t been here before. the wine was to die for along with the yellowtail appetizer which was sooo fresh! I ordered the Crema di Parmigiano and the Truffle Pasta. Both were really filling, fresh and full of flavor. I do prefer the truffle pasta over the crema plate. will definitely come"

"Great food, fresh ingredients, good service. I had the tequila lime chicken and my wife had the saffron chicken. The salads with both were outstanding very fresh veggies and feta cheese and understated dressing, The chicken was tender, juicy and subtly seasoned. A really good meal. Happy to tip on top of their base hospitality fee. Grateful that they held on through the pandemic and I'm glad to help keep them in business."

"Very friendly staff and fast service. The customisable burgers are great and especially the unlimited fries. Plenty of large screens playing the current games. At Topanga Mall, even a outside sitting is available. If you are lucky to get Johnathan as your server, his energy is off the hook."

"It was good , ribeye was very flavorful, tasty grilled asparagus was not too warm or plentiful. Cocktails were very expensive $19 for weak Old Fashion. For the money we’ll stick with Monty’s."

"I recently had an omakase dining experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, I have mixed feelings and can only give it an average rating of 3 stars out of 5.Let's start with the service. Our waitress was always polite and had a pleasant smile, creating a friendly atmosphere which I appreciated. However, I was a little disappointed when she overlooked the basket for my belongings, while other patrons seemed to receive this attention. I understand that oversights happen, but consistency is key when it comes to service.Now, the food a critical element in any dining experience, and even more so in omakase, which is all about entrusting oneself to the chef's selection. The dishes served were a mixed bag. Some were quite good, well prepared and presented. However, there were also several that were just average, with somewhat light flavors. Given the nature of omakase, I was expecting more creativity in the preparation and presentation of dishes, which unfortunately, was lacking.A key part of any omakase experience is the connection between the chef and the diner. In this case, the chef didn't interact much and his limited command of English meant he couldn't explain the dishes served to us. This detracted from the overall omakase experience, where understanding the concept and story behind each dish greatly enhances the dining pleasure.A final note we left the restaurant still feeling hungry. This was disappointing as the expectation from an omakase meal, particularly considering the price point, is to leave feeling satisfied.In summary, while there were aspects to appreciate about this restaurant, there were several areas where it fell short of expectations. Improvements in these areas would significantly enhance the dining experience. At this point, I can only rate it as average, hence the 3 star rating"

"Well, you're probably gonna make friends here. My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate 1 year since our first date in the very spot we met: Bar Tribute. But were very surprised to learn that Tribute had vanished, and had been replaced with Rita. So we decided to check it out anyway, and celebrate with margaritas and churros. Because of course! Our bartender was super nice and took great care of us. We were there on the earlyish side, so for a minute we were the only ones there... that is, until a group of party people suddenly burst in outta nowhere. They chatted with us a while, then stumbled on to their next stop  and almost left a bottle of wine behind. Fortunately, we caught them just before they jumped in their ride. So, back to those margs and churros... Maybe it was an off night, but I have to say we were not impressed. The drinks seemed over diluted and didn't have the zing and flavor we were hoping for. We did a couple rounds of different drinnks just to be sure, but it was consistently not impressive (sad sound). If I'm around, I might give it one more shot, just to see if the drinks and food have improved. Here's hoping. After Bar Tribute's incredible drink offerings, they have big shoes to fill  and I hope they can!"
