"We had a great meal with Risotto, Polenta and Gnocchi. The menu has a separate page for the vegan options and all but one clearly marked as gluten free. The staff was very friendly and flexible my daughter wanted the vegan Gnocchi with tomato sauce (which is an option for the non vegan gnocchi) and they happily made that for her. "Having read the reviews I can say that they are accurate. We had a great evening meal accompanied by an excellent Swiss wine. The service was attentive without being intrusive and the setting on the terrace was very pleasant. Highly recommended."

"On advice from Mr. Ferraaris (a restaurant with a sundial drink) I go to this restaurant run by valentino, a great chef from the past in Ascona. Beautiful location, the terrace is, although small, very warm and welcoming. The service is up to the room and the kitchen has impressed me a lot. I'll come back very gladly."

"The restaurant is just 1-2 minutes from the piazza grande in a small side street, away from the many tourist! very pleasant to eat even if it is otherwise too hot. In addition to the tables in de gasse you can also see the inner part of the restauranz, really pretty and a tipp for locarno.The service is very friendly and attentive! also eating is really very good and the prices are very fair for this situation, not artificially overpriced!I will definitely come again!"

"This restaurant differs from others. it only offers a few small tables. in the back there are two huge tables where you can sit. it is somehow connected to the weinbauer delea. so it offers the full selection of wein, among others weine from tessin. we both had the entrecote with the caffe de paris. it was tender and at the point, rare medium. unfortunately it remains on very hot heating plates and to cook further so that the second half of the meat was well made. friendly staff."

"We have ordered lasagna and some pasta woth mushrooms, and both dishes were tasteless. Lasagna was about 2cm high, almost no meat and tomato sauce, and no flavor whatsoever. Pasta was in creamy sauce, also flavorless. Very disappointing. Would definitely recommend other places."
