"Made reservations for two, a birthday celebration formy fiancee on Friday mar 1. We waited for an hour even with reservations. We got sat at a table right next to the kitchen, and I still can't get the smell of the grease out of my clothes. The food was fantastic, and we enjoyed our meals immensely. Our server, Berto, was good- natured and informative, but slow and ill-timed. For example, I ordered an americano with dessert. We waited 15 minutes for our bread pudding, which came with no silverware. We stared at our dessert for five minutes before we could get someone's attention to bring us silverware. Then, when we had about two bites of our dessert left, the Luke-warm americano was delivered by a runner. The atmosphere was nice, but super loud. In all, not worth the parking hassle, not worth the money. In summary, great food, not worth the trouble. I will not be returning."

"This is absolutely my favorite fast food in the Shively area on nights when I want to pick up something quick for take home. The decor is wanting as it was an old Pizza Hut converted to Chinese, but this place is family owned and you won't find sweeter people or better food anywhere. Even thought the facility is older it is always clean with oriental charm. I've called for to go orders so much that the sweet little lady there remembers my voice and my order! The food is excellent and they are great for swapping items on dinners at no extra charge. They have a complete list of dinners that are HUGE which you can buy all day until close which run from about $3-$6 These dinners consist of entrée, egg roll (you can swap for spring roll) and fried rice. We usually buy four dinners and an appetizer (about $20)and share for variety and still have allot left even w/ two men in the house. If you want a quick yummy Chinese meal that won't cost you an arm and a leg this is the place to go."

"I am a HUGE fan of Buca di Beppo. It's a great place to take a group, and they never pressure you to hurry up and leave like some restaurants do. After a BAD service experience at another restaurant on Hurstbourne, we decided to take some family and friends from out of town to Buca. We should have started there. LOVE the lemon basil mojitos and raspberry lemondrops, and the stuffed mushroom appetizer is delicious. I am a devotee of the Chicken Glorioso, which is not a regular menu item, so look for it on special. It's basically chicken breasts in a white wine mozzarella sauce with sundried tomatoes, and it is soooo good. The portions at Buca are family size (for 2 or more), so we always bring some home and it reheats amazingly. If you have never been, get the Quatro al Forno, which is a sampler of their baked pasta dishes like manicotti and stuffed shells. They have good homemade bread standard, but spend a few extra bucks and get the mozzarella garlic bread so soak up all the good sauce from your plate. Finish up with some chianti and chocolate cake and it is a great night! Also, if you want a whole differnt experience, they have a kitchen table where you can watch the cooks while you eat and see all the action, which is pretty fun on a weekend."

"To celebrate my birthday, I wanted to get take-out from a new-to-me restaurant. And I chose Faces to order from. Thanks, Faces, for making my birthday dinner special! We ordered a Caesar salad, mozzarella-stuffed breadsticks and the FSP pizza. It was easy to order take-out via Faces' website, which I very much appreciated. And the food was great. I liked that the Caesar salad's croutons looked to be made with leftover pizza dough. That's great that they're finding ways to not waste their ingredients and stretch it over several food products. The breadsticks were filled with cheesy goodness, with some marinara on the side. And the pizza! I loved the combination of toppings: garlic oil base, arugula, pork belly, bacon, mushroom, basil and oregano. This was a large, filling pizza that seemed a bit elevated from other pies we've had recently. I can't wait to get to actually eat in Faces in person. I've been drooling over Faces' social media and reviews and know there is still so much more goodness to enjoy."

"First thing don’t come here in a hurry. The service was a bit slow but once our order was taken, we received it in a very short time.The appetizer bread wasn’t our thing but might be yours. It tasted like it had a bit too much mayonnaise in it.The clams we got as appetizers were very tender and delicious the best we’ve eaten in a while l?I ordered the broiled, shrimp and scallops with potato and corn, and they were very fresh. I really enjoyed my meal.My wife had the fried shrimp and fish, but she was not as impressed with the batter on her order as she was with the fried clams we’ve just eaten. However they both were good and fresh.The graffiti walls and music for the atmosphere wasn’t our thing but the food more than made up for.The food here is excellent and that’s the main thing!"
