"This restaurant is used by plenty of locals. Ergo the food is good and good value. And it gets busy. Be prepared to wait at busy times and don’t bother hassling them. The service is not deferential so if you don’t like a bit of banter/back chat you may wish to avoid. We particularly enjoyed our exchanges with Patrick who mocked our French but spoke English like a South African so that was ok! But we can see from other’s reviews that the style of service at le Stanley is not everyone’s cup of tea."
