"I’m purely an Asian food hunter. Was pleasantly surprised. The food was super delicious contrary to overall review of average 3.8 stars. I definitely rated 5*. The waitress was very polite and attentive. The best dishes to me was lamb on the sticks and fish in Szechuan special sauce. My friends love Yunnan style dry beef. Cold dishes/appetizers are also awesome. The price is very reasonable."

"I've been here for years to get the incredible Samosa soup. another clip I wish I knew the name is a flaky flatbread appetizer served with beans. fried tofu is different from anyone I had before, crispy on the outside and firm (but also somehow creamy) on the inside. every salad I've tried was great (tea leaf, penny word and samosa so far). Ask for fish sauce in any dish You are uncertain about the owner (which is also usually the waitress) will change if possible. Every time I come in, she remembers me and that I'm vegan. Love this hidden jewel! gave 4 stars only because they serve meat."

"Best fish and chips I had in this area. The fish is not dry and melts in the mouth. I also love her buffalo Ranch chicken sandwich. The chicken is quite moist with a lot of buffalo sauce taste. It is quite expensive for these dishes, but definitely worth it."

"Most recently placed a holiday order for pie slices. It was so convenient to order and pay online and pick up. The restaurant was well organized for a last minute decision on my part and on a busy Christmas eve! I truly hope this slice (no pun intended) of Americana doesn't ever leave Monterey Park/SGV. It's nice to have a childhood favorite in the neighborhood right next to the most diverse cuisines.100 stars for extremely polite and helpful staff!"
