"This restaurant didn’t live up to expectations pumped up by advertising. Champagne and wine were served not at the right temperature. The ravioli hors d’œuvre was watery, no taste. The fish dish was too dry and boring. A Michelin restaurant shouldn’t be a big espace...for mass eating."

"A small restaurant near the rail station and Place Carnot. Very good value set menu, as well as a small number of other dishes. We had the dinner formule at 19 euros for two courses. We chose a starter of chevre and aubergine crouton with...salad, and main course of veal cooked in a deliciously rich sauce. Genuinely good cooking. A red house wine by the glass was very pleasant. Service was friendly and efficient."

"Always a pleasure to eat at Ripailles, a heaven for meat lovers. Times are hard for restaurant owners at the moment, it’s important to support the good guys. The square is very pleasant and so is the inside of the restaurant. The meat is of course delicious and the wine menu features local heroes. A must taste! Great staff too!"
