"Holiday at Lübecker Bay. Restaurants are available in abundance. Yesterday, it's a waste. The Marienhof with its offers (cafe and other shop with decoration, tea, jam and other delicacies we had already had a short visit on the day before. Ultimately, our real estate agent gave us the decisive tip: if you want to eat something that tastes, then I recommend the Marienhof. The choice was fixed. For the short reader: a very good recommendation! We enter the Marienhof virtually in the Gänsemarsch – the youngest one. Friendly we are greeted and we are offered a table for 6 people – that fits. We can't see a wardrobe at first sight – we are asked if we can take off the jackets (1. plus point . Aperitif is offered with the transfer of the card: Prosecco with pomegranate. We're hesitating, but let's say it. Also a day recommendation is offered to us friendly (2nd plus point). So we get the 1st drink round together a little later – so it should be. The prosecco receives a completely different note by adding pomegranate (sirup). A little sweet, not too strong, and very pleasant to our taste. A word to the ambience: a restaurant in the (former cowshed is not unusual nowadays. That we then meet as decoration on the “original” tables with description of cows incl. kg milk per year, we have not seen yet. Totally successful. Of course, the whole thing raises various questions with our youngest ones, but the waiting time can be bridged very well. Only the pig's drug doesn't fit into the cow's stall. Over this fauxpax we can't see completely... The map will find the inclined visitor in the excellent Internet appearance. We decide for medallions of pig with slightly caramelized red wine shallots and potato carrots tune; fish plate Marienhof; cod fillet and from the children's card noodles with tomato sauce. As a small appetizer, we get self-baked whole grain bread (10 half slices! and greebenschmalz – very tasty! Let's start with the children's portion noodles with tomato sauce: very large portion. The tomato sauce not as usual from home “tomatoy”. Still delicious. Our youngest has “pushed” the whole portion – that speaks for itself. And for the torrent after Benjamin Blümchen type, there was later a small surprise with 3 letters... medallions of pig with slightly caramelized red wine shallots and potato carrots Rösti: An attractive portion size with 3 medallions and 3 potato carrots. Conclusion of our children: very good! Only the red wine shallots were uninhabited for the kids. Despite that, “ready edible” – also for kids. We were allowed to taste and find them interesting. Our very attentive waitress, of course, noticed the initial scepticism of our kids towards the shallots and offered an alternative here to serve at short notice (3rd plus point . The kids, however, rejected this offer politely... The cod fillet gedünstet (so a mixed salad visually very appealing and tastefully well matched with the Pommery Senfsoße a good salt potatoes. The Marienhof fish plate (fried fish fillets after catching with caffeine snow is slightly modified compared to the internet map now offered with potato snow. The herbal butter. The first impression: slightly dry. But with herbal butter and lemon very delicious. The potato snow is quite “light”. Then I was still allowed to taste the red wine Scots. This made the court even more round in my eyes – perhaps an idea for the cook? Otherwise: there are also “Ducksteiner” from the barrel in the offer. This alone would be “a sin worth”... a word to our waitress: PERFECT! Something missing? We would like to bring our kids to culinary delights in young years. Therefore, we find information on the children's card helpful, which also allow us to select a main dish in children's proportion size. Conclusion: very interesting ambience freshly prepared main dish for 14 to 16. €, of which one gets tired: great. small children's card with very reasonable prices (4 5. € service: exemplary. In the service and service desert of Germany exceptionally well. The class is usually found in restaurants with star! P L Ratio: very much performance for reasonable money!"

"An important restaurant! we are quite spontaneous there added, there was no problem. vaccination and personal ID are checked in exemplary fashion, the net waitress then left free table selection. the drinks quickly, there was a tasty houseschnaps to welcome. the menu includes Balkan specialties but also other dishes such as carving variations, fish, salads, steaks, etc. that eating was really super tasty! rumpsteak more juicy than we ever had in a steakhouse, the earlylingspan awarded with the medaillons. the restaurant does not shine with many decorations, only with simple beauty, everything well maintained. in the direction the chef chef is still passing and entertains with us. very friendly! We weren't here for the last time!"

"We were on a Saturday night that we were still pretty alone. the restaurant only gradually filled and this brought us the advantage of intensive consulting (whether that is always the case, unfortunately, is bad to guess). personal very nice and accommodating but not all by compartment. this was realized here and there at the organization but everything was not bad. esser was very tasty and original served (we also spied a little bit in the afternoon). we sat outside on the terrace, unfortunately on a much busy road, there was a lot to look for! :-) price was already rather elevated for that the performance was reasonable. happy again!"
