"The Arepas are delicious! Tried the yuca fries and the Venezuelan lemonade with sugar cane as well. Great spot for a light meal and a cute patio for the summer (had a puppy so enjoyed sitting outside).Vegetarian options: Have a vegan and gluten free option."

"I’ve had many great meals at Bannock over the years and will definitely go back, but I took a group of teenagers there last night before a show, and wanted to pass on some unfiltered feedback from the kids to a middle-aged parent (bannock, in...restaurant years) who’s maybe stopped trying to be awesome: 1/ the bannock itself was stale, cold, and indistinguishable from Loblaw’s pita bread, not an inspiring recreation of what kids remember from their first campfire bread creation, 2/ the winterlicious feature butternut squash soup came in a thimble, was lukewarm, and the much-anticipated bacon disappointed in large processed chunks at the bottom of the bowl, 3/ the cappuccino that was supposed to come with my brownie for dessert was sub-par and arrived long after the (delicious) brownie had been demolished. The ambience was warm and our server was lovely."

"Greatly improved. Have eaten here several times over the last few years. Enjoyed the renovated restaurant and updated menu. Recommend the Yorkies and chicken curry. Service has always been good when I visit."

"Its a nice found in downtown. It's hard to find good food in downtown, but this one is exceptional, mind boggling taste. All what we tried surprised us with spices and taste. I would recommend and go Back again and again. Only one draw back is that their service charge is 17%, which is too much on top of tax. you end up payin too much for what you ate."

"My first time and sadly, I was not wowed by the food. It was so so. Ordered pizza and pasta and a fried seafood to share. Pizza was too doughy and pasta was a tad bit too Al dente for my liking. I must say service was great."
