"Took 10 minutes to get water and another 10 minutes to get our drink order in even though we were one of three tables in the entire restaurant. Should have known better when we realized it wasn 't busy on a Friday night and a holiday (Easter) weekend. The beet salad had no taste and although I requested the BBQ sauce for the bison burger on the side, of course it was slopped on anyway. I got a sorry when I informed the server, not an offer to bring me another one or take it off of the bill. Knowing I was upset, the server brought me the bill and informed me that she had added a 20% gratuity because I was a party of 6 even though four of my party were kids that ordered from the kid 's menu. Oh yeah, bartender was rude and acted as if she was doing me a favor by taking my drink order. Grand Summit Hotel and Red Tail Grill need an overdue facelift and new management."

"This may be just a cultural difference because the US has a gratuity focus in respect of service with all servers eager to please to get a good gratuity but.. we were asked what we wanted to drink within seconds of being seated before we had even taken our coats off! We were then asked the same question again every couple of minutes before we relented. After ordering our food the starters arrived in less than minutes (again, I know that US citizens like efficient service whereas we prefer effective but more relaxed service). The food was all very good but quite overpriced when compared with other restaurants (probably not an issue for their target customers but as we dine out every night on vacation this was not good value even though it was good food). Whilst my wife was still eating they came to clear my plate and other dishes, which is very bad form in our book and we sent them away (once again probably just a cultural difference between US and UK customers). A large group of very loud people also spoiled it a bit."

"Went here for lunch w/ the Grandparents, and it was really just okay. Food was stars, cocktails were stars. Lamb meatball was raw and runny in the middle and had to be re-cooked Service was stars, though the service was pleasant enough. Forgot a lot of little things napkins, extra plates, straw for the kiddo. It really seemed like this place is for year olds late at night, and that they didn't know what to do with a normal lunch crowd. Interesting decor, cool, loungey-vibe, and nice music. Not enough to bring me back, but might be a happening place for a cocktail after for some folks."

"Amazing food and excellent service! Claire has done an impeccable service! Super friendly and a pleasure, we are so glad that she was able to make our dinner something special! "Zocalo was recommended to us by a family member and we were not disappointed. The food and drinks were amazing. Everything was fresh and had a wide range of visual and palate attractions. Each of us chose a different entre and we tried each other out. The WOWs went on around the table, from yellow tomato / cucumber gazpacho, meatballs, steak, softshell crab, scallops ... delicious, delicious, delicious! All dinners came with beautiful pages that were incredible. I will definitely come again."
