"At the end of the day at the Royal Inn Hotel and decided to eat at the hotel as it did not feel like an exploration due to the impact of the altitude in Puno. The prices were quite reasonable. I had the 3 course fixed menu for 30 soles (only under $10). The menu changes daily and there are 3 options for appetizer, main course and dessert. I had the pumpkin soup, Andean trout and banana crepe. Herbal tea was also included. The portions were large and everything was delicious. My friend ordered the Alpaca-Steak with mushroom sauce from the menu, which was delivered at about 35 soles. Our two ducks came with potatoes and vegetables. My friend said it was the best meal he had in his 8 days in Peru. I usually try to stay away from hotel restaurants because they are usually overpriced and don't have many food options, but I'm very grateful."

"Restaurant situé sur la plaza de armas. Mélange de pizzeria et de restaurant péruvien.Salle au rdc un peu sombre ... pas de problème on vous ouvre la salle à l'étage !! Un vrai service super sympa même si un peu lent. Pizzas au feu de bois ce qui suppose d'attendre un peu. Prix très raisonnables.Pas mal."

"Step into Positive and if it weren't for the Peruvian staff, you could be anywhere in the world. The walls are plastered from floor to ceiling with notes/letter/artwork left by past visitors/travellers. We loved the laid back vibe of this place, from the candles on each table, to the fireplace, to the black lights – very cool ambience. We came here for an appetizer and drinks. Appetizer was alright, but drinks was fabulous. The passion fruit Mojito was on point (I ordered two). Worth stopping by. You kind of feel like you’re in a cave. And maybe inside the cave it is the year 1975."
