We were out at noon and wanted to get the kitchen cold at home. the Greek restaurant, which was just a few minutes walk from our Schwalmstadt shopping tour. we were not the first guests and have joined the already existing in the main guest room. Later we heard new guests asking if they could also have a place in the conservatory where you have a beautiful view of the Howra, as small as they can still be here, just a few meters before their confluence with the Schwalm. back to the actual visit. friendly reception, free space. we were looking for a comfortable eckbank overlooking the backyard. the many dirt on our sitting corner, the laying and the floor was quite striking. also the windows seemed to have enjoyed no laundry for a long time. Still, the ambience was okay. the menu was very appealing and with more than a hundred directed a strong contrast to our visit only a few days before the view of the sea, where the map only contains 20 dishes. Despite a variety of decisions, the selection was easy if you know what you want and what you have right now. at a starter we both had no pleasure. so my wife chose a part circle with pommes while I chose a small meat selection from circles, Souflaki and Bifteki. to both there was a small additional salad that looked quite appetizing and probably made exclusively of itself (also consisted of carrots and white herbs. all foods came to the table quickly, but at that time only three guests were present. only later it filled a little more. the most important foods tasted good, but we both have to admit today when we finish this report of experience (about three weeks after our visit that we can no longer remember details. a really lasting impression did not leave this lunch. Too bad. my wife found her circle with a price of 11 euros far too expensive. I'm looking at the 13 euro for my grill plate. the part was plentiful, and an appetizer would have prevented me from leaving an empty bowl. a new visit is nothing in the way, there are many dishes I would like to try out. the eaten as it is in the menu:"

"Lunch with two people for 43.60 Euro We had already held the cultural station last Sunday, but were on the way too early. With today's knowledge, I would like to say that we had better tried the mill bag I told last week. The Kulturbahnhof Schwalm Alter Bahnhof Ziegenhain Süd is located directly on the cycle path Rotkäppchenland, about 4 kilometers, so close to its beginning. Bicycle stand and beer garden just a few steps from the cycle path invite you to stay. Actually ingeniously located. Despite the beautiful weather there was less on the cycle path than on the previous Sunday. The available tables in the beer garden were completely occupied shortly after our arrival. Available because about half of the tables were chained together with the chairs and were not freed when a larger Pulk cyclist fell over the culture station. The menus were taken very quickly. But that happened with pleasure. Although at the beginning only four tables were occupied and no guest sat in it, it took 30 minutes to get our appetizers on the table. But above all on the map: very appealing and with a good selection of deliciously titled and described dishes that do not make the choice easy. As a lover of potato soups, at least this selection has already been established for me. To avoid looking at me, my wife chose the Schwälmer Broschetta with fresh herbal tomato cubes on rye mixed bread as an appetizer. Then I decided to go to Pig Naked Steak with roasted onions with roasted potatoes and Schwälmer Schmandsalat. My wife ordered the fitness salad. When I write this report and read the menu again, I feel rightly taken on my arm and not too little! As already mentioned, it took 30 minutes until potato soup and broschetta found the way to the table. In many menus the fresh preparation of the food is already mentioned and it can take longer. HERE this would have been really appropriate once, but missing on the map. I don't know what I got up there as a potato soup. After the potato it did not taste the least. More like seasoned vegetables. A candidate for one of the worst potato soups of my life. Nothing or better after nothing tasting. But at least she looked like a hessian potato soup. My wife's broschetta was a simple tomato bread. Toasted! Rye mixed bread with tomato cubes were the fresh herbs cut liquor and nothing else, no spices, nothing. At least 30 minutes we waited for the main courts. Waiting doesn't matter, we always had enough to say, but here the wait was slow. Unfortunately, I can't lose a good word about the steak. The roast potatoes at the lower end of the roast potato scale. Here too neither bacon nor onions tasted for bacon and onions. I've never seen anything like that. So I wonder what this is? Röstzwiebeln, promised on the map, presented itself as greedy onions and again after nothing tasting. In the flesh, I assume that the taste that he was soaked before quickly, and that it was saved a lot when I seasoned with the spices. And then the side salad is a Schwälmer Schmandsalat . I'm not a Schwälmer, but I don't think Lollo Rosso is a typical Schwälmer salad. The salad was okay, but the crumbs were neither cross nor fresh. All very disappointing. Let's go to the fitness room. Angepriesen with fresh ciabatta. What was delivered was simple white bread. The fresh leaf salads of the season were finally a single salad, Lollo Rosso. At least with delicious dressing and juicy turkey breast. But maybe you can understand now that I feel a little bit taken on my arm. Not only was there something wrong, but a lot. Accordingly, the evaluation is not necessary. We had something else. You can fool yourself.
